Who I AM
My entire life I have dreamed of competing at the Grand Prix level in show jumping. Horses have been a lifelong passion, and in 2004, my husband and I took a big step toward that dream by purchasing a small farm near Dayton, Ohio. We started a modest boarding and training operation, which allowed me to supplement my income enough to compete regularly.
In 2015, we relocated to East Tennessee to be closer to my husband's parents. I continued competing in both show jumping and eventing until 2021. That year, a tragic fatality on the cross-country course deeply impacted me, leading to my decision to step away from eventing. It was a turning point in my life and riding career—I chose to focus entirely on pursuing my ultimate goal of competing at the Grand Prix level in show jumping.
My husband and I manage our farm together, where I serve as the primary caretaker for the horses. In addition to running the farm, I work remotely for a tech company, allowing me the flexibility to dedicate myself to both my career and my horses. I’ve poured everything—emotionally, physically, and financially—into chasing my dream of competing at the Grand Prix level.
I am now on the cusp of entering my first regional-level Grand Prix at 1.35m. With successful results in 1.20m to 1.30m amateur and mini prix classes throughout 2023 and 2024, I’ve proven my ability to compete at a high level. A highlight of my career came in 2024 when I won team gold at the Zone 4 1.25m Championship with my incredible partner, Ollie Go Lightly.
As I approach this next milestone, my financial resources are fully stretched. To achieve my dream, I am seeking the support of patrons who share my vision and are willing to invest in my journey to Grand Prix competition.
